Vuoden 2022 äitiyspakkaus jaettavana

Äitiyspakkauksen sisältö ja onnittelukirje on uudistettu.

Ensimmäiset vuoden 2022 äitiyspakkaukset lähtevät asiakkaille tällä viikolla. Kela kertoi asiasta tiedotteessaan 3.2.2022.

Tavallisesti edellisen vuoden pakkaukset on jaettu loppuun vasta keväällä. Uudistetussa onnittelukirjeessä on mukana vinkit lapsen pukemiseen ja tuotteiden elinkaaren pidentämiseen. 

 

Ensimmäiset vuoden 2022 äitiyspakkaukset lähetetään asiakkaille jo tällä viikolla. Pakkauksen vaihtumisajankohta vaihtelee hieman vuosittain, sillä ajankohtaan vaikuttaa äitiysavustushakemusten määrä. Tänä vuonna pakkaus vaihtuu edellisiä vuosia aikaisemmin, mikä johtuu syntyvyyden kasvusta.

Äitiysavustuksen hakijoista kaksi kolmasosaa valitsee äitiyspakkauksen ja kolmannes 170 euron rahasumman. Äitiyspakkauksessa on tänä vuonna yhteensä 43 erilaista tuotetta. Tuotteiden valinnassa on painotettu pitkäikäisyyttä ja laatua.

 

Onnittelukirje on uudistettu

 

Äitiyspakkauksen sisältö ja onnittelukirje on uudistettu. Kirjeessä on päiväkodeista tuttu kuva, jossa lämpömittarin viereen on koottu vinkit lapsen pukemiseen eri säätiloissa. Äitiyspakkauksen hankintaprosessissa ja tuotteiden valinnassa on kiinnitetty huomiota vastuullisuuteen. Vastuullisuus näkyy myös kirjeessä, jossa on vinkkejä tuotteiden elinkaaren pidentämiseen. Kirjeessä on mukana myös QR-koodit Elämässä.fi-verkkomediaan, josta voi poimia vinkit tekstiilien hoitamiseen ja kierrättämiseen.

Kirjeessä on uutena asiana myös etuustietoa vanhempainpäivärahoista. Nykyiset vanhempainpäivärahat ja 1.8.2022 voimaan astuvan perhevapaauudistuksen mukaiset vanhempainpäivärahat on kuvattu infograafeissa.

Äitiyspakkauksen onnittelukirje tavoittaa vuosittain noin 30 000 perhettä.

 

Ensikirjan saamenkielinen versio on tilattavissa

 

Pakkaukseen oikeutetut saamenkieliset asiakkaat voivat tilata ensimmäistä kertaa saamenkielisen version Ilo pisaroi! -ensikirjasta (saameksi Illu rišaida!, Ilo riškáttâl! ja Rämm kuäškknjâst!). Vuosina 2020 ja 2021 äitiyspakkauksen saaneet voivat tilata saamenkielisen ensikirjan poikkeuksellisesti myös jälkikäteen. Tilauksen yhteydessä tarkistetaan, että perhe on saanut päätöksen äitiysavustuksesta ja valinnut äitiyspakkauksen rahallisen avustuksen sijaan.

 

 

 

Maternity package 2022 now available

The first maternity packages of the 2022 edition will be delivered to the customers this week. Usually the last packages of the previous year’s edition are not delivered until much later in the spring. The updated letter of congratulation includes hints and tips on how to dress the baby and how to extend the lifecycle of the products.

The first maternity packages of the 2022 edition will be delivered to the customers this week. The date of the switchover to the new edition varies slightly from year to year because it depends on the number of applications for maternity grant that come in. This year the edition of the maternity package changes earlier in the year than usual, and the reason for this is increasing birth rates.

Of those who apply for a maternity grant, two out of three choose the maternity package and one out of three the cash payment of EUR 170. This year the maternity package contains a total of 43 different products. When selecting the products, the focus was on longevity and high quality.

Letter of congratulation updated

The contents of the maternity package and the letter of congratulation have been updated. The letter includes a familiar picture from day care centres, where hints and tips on how to dress the baby for different types of weather are shown beside a thermometer. Responsible sourcing has been emphasised in the procurement process of the maternity package and in the product selection. Responsibility is also a feature of the letter, which includes hints and tips on how to extend the lifecycle of the products. The letter also includes QR codes to the web publication Elämässä.fi, where you find hints and tips on how to take care of and recycle textiles.

A new feature in the letter is information on parental allowances. The current parental allowances and the parental allowances of the family leave reform that will take effect on 1 August 2022 are described through infographics.

About 30,000 families annually receive the letter of congratulation included in the maternity package.

Sami version of the book can be ordered

Sami-speaking customers who are entitled to the package can for the first time order a Sami version of the book Ilo pisaroi! (in Sami Illu rišaida!, Ilo riškáttâl! and Rämm kuäškknjâst!). Those who have received the maternity package in 2020 or 2021 can exceptionally order the Sami version of the book also afterwards. In connection with the order, Kela checks that the family has received a decision on the maternity grant and chosen the maternity package instead of the cash payment.
